Door to door removal proces

Regardless of whether it is an international or local move, we know that you want to feel comfortable with the company you choose.

OPTIMOVE provides full door-to-door moving services. You do not need to worry about packing, organizing transport, insurance, customs clearance or unpacking at your new home – we will do it all for you.

We will first discuss your moving plans on the phone to obtain basic information and arrange a pre move survey at your home. Pre move survey is an important step that enables accurate costs calculation and provides required set of customized services as per clients needs. Pre move survey is FREE OF CHARGE.

An experienced surveyor will visit your home to go through your personal and household goods, so that we can provide you with an offer that will meet your needs.

After the survey we will send you an official quotation with all service details . For international moves, we provide completing the necessary customs documents and insurance upon request.

On the moving day, our packing team will arrive at your address with a full range of quality materials and tools. They will dismantle necessary furniture items and properly pack the goods. After packing, they will label and number everything and create a packing inventory.

If any item or furniture need special protection, on your request we are able to provide a wooden crate as additional protection during transport.

Depending on the mode of transport, the shipment will be adequately prepared and loaded.

For international moves, our selected partner at the destination will be in contact with you regarding the arrival of your shipment, customs procedures and delivery to your new home.

Modes of transport

Transport by road

Transport by road. The shipment is packed and loaded directly into the appropriate moving vehicle for transportation. Heavy and non fragile boxes (books, clothes…) will be place down; fragile and light items (pictures, glasses…) will be place on top . These vehicles have hard side covers and so provide additional protection for your household goods during transportation.

Transport by air

We use high quality 3-wall boxes for safe air transportation. These boxes are lightweight but firm and may be placed on pallets in order to provide safe and easy manipulation.

Transport by sea

Where it is possible, packed household goods are loaded directly from your home into a container intended for overseas transport. After loading, we forward the container to a customs point for customs formalities.

After export customs clearance, the container is transported to the loading port . The container is sealed at the origin and can not be opened until delivered to its final address.

Type of containers:

Consolidated transport

If you need to move a small shipment by sea or by road transport, and the delivery time for you is not a factor, the shipment can be sent by consolidation transport: Personal and household items that are packed in boxes are loaded in wooden crates for further protection and easier manipulation in transport.

The wooden boxes are sealed, loaded into the truck or container and as such delivered to the destination address.
